Commissioned for an EP of remixes of tracks from Def Tex's 2007 'Thanks But No Thanks' album, the EP never really came together as planned, but we did get this scorching remix from our good friend Deepcutt, over at Scion Records. A full-on hip-hop/drum & bass fusion, this remix takes an already politically charged and hyped-up track, and gives it a right old rinse-out and turbo-boost. Adrenalised beats, heavy-bottom end and detailed atmospherics all gell with Chrome and The Anthropologist 'grown man in a crazy world' lyrics - undeniable home truths delivered with the passion and skill of the truly seasoned MC. And we have to mention DJ Tags insanely precise killer cuts (recorded especially for this remix).
