Fresh from his recent adventures alongside Nottingham misery and housewives’ favourite Pitman, our resident hip-hop masterchef Styly Cee makes a welcome return to the throng, bringing with him two of Nott’s heaviest lyrical hitters, Cappo and Midnyte for two choice cuts of premium hip-hop beef, sliced fat.

Doing it like only he can, the indomitable and inimitable Cappo throws down the gauntlet, laying down the verse like he was in pain over styly’s rigorous neck snapping beat. Pure 90’s east coast meets 05 Notts bizniz. As ever Caps kills it with his tight construction and delivery while Styly works the cut, the kick and the snare like a mutha.
‘No Pills, No Frills’ featuring Midnyte
Bringing the rukus in a tunefully rowdy style, regular collaborator Midnyte kicks up a storm on this rugged banging track first showcased on ‘The Last Word’ CD compilation earlier this year. Burnishing his well-earned Notts rep with every one of his rare appearances, Aaron Midnyte here shows that just cos he plays it low-key in this rap thing, it ain’t for lack of heart & skills.
