It’s Friday night, and ain’t nothing gonna stop C-Mone and her girls getting their party on – lechy cabbies, wannabe high posters, screwface jealous girls: whatever man… Stanns Ville’s in the house and you know its gonna go off… Producer NICK STEZ (Outdaville, Marga Boyz) serves up an ace with this hyped-up, bottom heavy roller – elements of ’88 laced with ’04 niceness, topped off with killer cuts from the peerless DJ FEVER and backing vocals from Notts up & comer SMILEY provide the perfect setting for C-Mone to showcase her irrepressible battle ready femme fatale side…sassy, feisty, lyrical…and bad news for anyone spilling their pint on her garms…

So, after the battle flex, here comes the other side of the story: the honest, warm hearted girl paying tribute to the foundation for her strong character, her family. Its not so often you hear something so direct, personal and heartfelt, but without sentimentality. DJ FEVER turns up again, this time coming through wearing his producer’s hat and bringing with him a gorgeous warm organic production that is still 100% hip-hop. As with the A-side, it’s the perfect match of beat & lyrics, mood & content, and one for those of you out there tired of hip-hop that got no soul.
