DPF Bandcamp
A heads up to pop pover and visit our good friend DPF's tidy little online spot over at Bandcamp
Ever since Joe's gem of an abum 'It'll Never Catch On' appeared a couple of years ago its been quietly gathering fans and admirers of its many charms from all over, and those sensible people will be pleased to know that it's talented creator hasn't yet recycled his microphone and taken to hiding away in his gorilla suit, but instead has been been busy writing the next chapters in his Book of Rhymes.. not to mention his Book of Jokes, which expands with every passing hour.
We feel sure there will be more solo album-mongering from the ever-wily Deepyef in the not-too distant, but in the meantime you can check out his most recent venture alongside fellow Norwich emcee, Chronic Redeye, a man with a passion for things rootsical, who he's teamed up with to create Soldjasoulz.
Together with a host of talented producers, including Def Tex original, Chrome, they've put together an album's worth of material for you to download for a modest £2.
And for anyone coming across DPF for the first time, you could do worse than check out a neat little comp of his collabs with the mighty Def Tex entitled 'dpf tex', available exclusively from the Bandcamp site.
