Nottingham hip-hop piece in Plan B
There's a great piece on the history of the Nottingham hip-hop scene in the current (and sadly last) issue of Plan B magazine, which is on the shelves right now.
As far as we're aware, this is the first time anyone's ever gone to the trouble of attempting to document this much-overlooked scene in a comprehensive way. While its difficult to cover the full history in the article's 3 pages, it does a good job of hitting many of the milestones, from the late 80s to the present day, and its well worth a read.
