C-Mone album - free download
We've been a little slow on this one, but our favourite femcee, C-Mone is currently giving away her new project for free download over here. What's not to like?!
Entitled 'C-Mone vs. The Indie Boyz' its a mash-up mixtape-type deal, with deftly-reproduced re-workings of various well-known indie-flavoured tunes, given a good a good kick up the arse beats-wise courtesy of C-Mone and Nick Stez. There's also some nice acoustic renditions of C-Mone favourites 'UK Chant' and 'Second After Second'.
While its billed as a mixtape, it stands up as an album of variety and integrity, and as ever C-Mone is on sparkling lyrical form, touching on all areas of life, and her verses pack a punch throughout. Smart, feisty, heartfelt, insightful, cheeky - take your pick, there's plenty of goodness on offer here.
