We're making friends..
Not in a crap myspace way, but meaning that over the next while, possibly in fits and starts, we'll be adding releases to our shop by people we esteem and admire. These few we shall dub 'Friends of Son'. They get a certificate and everything..
And rest assured, we'll not be fobbing you off with anything we don't think is worthy of your attention, so keep an eye out. Anytime we've got some new freshness, we'll post a newspiece, and you can check out what's available by scrolling down to the bottom of the shop.
Kicking things off with a flourish, we're extremely happy to bring you 'The Album' by the Boiler Room Collective. For those who've not heard of it before, this is a who's who of homegrown hip-hop hotness, being a side project of our good friend Tom Caruana (the man behind Wordsmith's 'Road Man Showcase' album) alongside a deep line-up of dope emcees:
Wordsmith, Genesis Elijah, Skinnyman, Dr. Syntax, Super Novar & many more..
Our particular favourite is 'The Rattla' with Wordsmith, Genesis & Syntax, all killing it with sick double-time-ness. But there's heaps of goodness there so go investigate
