Sonrecords.com webshop exclusives

We've been adding a few bits and pieces to the shop over the last few days. These are exclusive to the shop and you won't be seeing them anywhere else. We're going to keep adding exclusive new bits and pieces as & when, but in the meantime, we've got some good gear for you right here.

For them who like a bit of tearing drum & bass to spice up their heavyweight political lyricals, look no further - we've got a peach of a remix from top-notch drum&bass/dubstep producer, Deepcutt of Def Tex's classic 'Tempest' from the 'Thanks But No Thanks' album. And if you're feeling these styles, check here for a bit of related news that you might be interested in.

We've also got an EP of exclusive Son tracks previously released only in Japan for an exclusive Son compilation. Featuring 2 tracks from the 'lost' 2nd EP from UK Kartel, alongside some other quality nuggets from Son stalwarts Mad Doctor X, Lost Island, Quakes and HKB Finn.

Lastly, for those fans of the missing-in-action (but never forgotten) Pitman, we've located an overlooked stash of his third 7" from a few years ago, 'It Takes Tea' b/w 'Twat Farm' (the original version). In these troubled times, a hit of Pitman's no-nonsense common-sense and well-justified misanthropy is the perfect alternative to punching someone in the face, plus you won't get arrested. No downloads on this one, just dirty black plastic. Get em while there's still a few left
